Customer Responsibilities
Shipping
Most REELEX equipment is sold ex-works unless otherwise negotiated. When your equipment is completed, we will contact you regarding making shipping arrangements to pick up the equipment.
- Prior to equipment arrival, please have the air and power supplies available as described in the Equipment section of the machine proposal (requirements are also located on the ID plates).
- When the equipment arrives, unpack and place the machine on the floor according to the line layout drawing. Please have all additional components (printer, sparker, etc.) ready for installation when setting up the REELEX line.
- REELEX supplies the complete line pre-wired with flexible conduit, please connect equipment using the conduits provided.
- Make sure all bare metal components have had protective coatings removed.

Interfacing with Your Equipment
It is the responsibility of the Customer to provide for any necessary design, engineering, setup, test and debug of the interface between REELEX equipment and Buyer’s equipment unless such interface is specifically described and included as part of the equipment proposal.
REELEX technical staff are available to assist in integrating Customer’s equipment with REELEX machines.
Make Sure Product and Personnel are Available
To make sure the equipment performs up to par, make sure there is product available to run when REELEX personnel arrive. Also make sure your personnel are available for training.
REELEX Responsibilities
REELEX Technician Labor
Once equipment is installed and in place, REELEX technicians will arrive and commission the equipment. Travel expenses are additional and are billed as a flat daily rate. Up to 5 days (10 for automated equipment) of labor are provided free of charge. A typical commissioning take 3 to 5 days.
Integrating other Components with REELEX Equipment
We will work with you to integrate printers, testers and other equipment to interface with the REELEX machine. However, it is your responsibility to set up the equipment and install in the appropriate places on the line. Recommended locations are noted on the line layouts.
