What is REELEX 1.5?

Developed from the desire to retain the existing REELEX I side-load box design yet provide a slightly larger payout tube opening suitable for data cables, REELEX 1.5 sits between REELEX I and REELEX II.

The “REELEX 1.5” moniker is used to slot this package type between REELEX I and REELEX II.

REELEX 1.5 boxes are typically side-loaded, and are commonly used for packaging smaller, lightweight data cables such as Cat 5e or reduced size coaxial cables. REELEX 1.5 is not recommended for Cat 6.

  • Mid-sized guide tube option for a wide variety of flexible products

  • Includes snap-on ring to affix tube to package

  • Tube only available in 4in (10cm) length

  • Suitable for side-load or top-load box designs
