About REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc.
REELEX Packaging Solutions (formerly Windings, Inc.) is a small, privately-held company located about 90 minutes north of New York City in Patterson, NY. As the creator of the REELEX packaging system, our company has the unique task of developing and supporting every aspect of REELEX, from packaging supplies to machine manufacturing to global service and support.
Packaging Development, Support and Supply
As the creator of REELEX packaging, it is vital that we continue to push the envelope of new packaging innovations incorporating tangle and twist-free technology. As a result, we undergo a wide range of research and development activities involving new “outside the box” packaging designs along with innovations in machinery and electronics.
Our personnel also provide support to all licensees of the REELEX system in terms of product development, field support, problem diagnosis and design assistance. Because of the unique arrangement of the license agreement, all licensees have free access to all REELEX knowhow related to product enhancement.
Coiling Machine Development, Manufacture and Service
All REELEX coiling machines and related ancillary machines are designed and manufactured in-house. Our electronics department manufactures, designs, and assembles all drives, controllers and circuitboards, while our machine shop does everything from the welding frames to the machining of mandrels and endforms.
Our full staff of support technicians specialize in REELEX machinery, packaging, and electronics, and travel to facilities around the globe providing service to REELEX machines that have sometimes been in service as long as 30 years.
Our employees have over 500 man-years of wire and cable experience and have been in over 150 wire manufacturing facilities throughout the world responding to real world manufacturing problems. This experience allows us to push reel-less wire and cable packaging to new levels, meeting not only the current needs of our customers but anticipating future needs and solutions.
A Unique Relationship
REELEX’s unique business model, the REELEX License Agreement, means that we are committed to our licensee’s continued success, not just to getting an order. Because our revenue is based on the health of an ongoing relationship and not just order fulfillment, our existence depends on our customer’s continuing support and loyalty to the REELEX system.
As a result, much of our company’s revenue is reinvested in the development, promotion and support of the REELEX system for the benefit of both REELEX Packaging Solutions and our licensees. Because we have a vested interest in the continued success of REELEX packaging, our company takes special pride in offering the highest levels of customer support and innovation in the industry.

From the East: Follow I-84 to the I-684 exit, Exit 20. The exit ramp will fork. Bear right onto Rt 22 North – Pawling. Follow Rt 22 North for 5 miles. You will see Robin Hill Corporate Park on your left as you come over the crest of a hill. Take a left onto Jon Barrett Road into the park. REELEX Packaging Solutions is 1/4 mile on the right.
From the South: Follow I-684 North until it reaches I-84. Stay straight. I-684 will turn into Rt 22. Follow Rt 22 North for 5 miles. You will see Robin Hill Corporate Park on your left as you come over the crest of a hill. Take a left onto Jon Barrett Road into the park. REELEX Packaging Solutions is 1/4 mile on the right.
