Generation 4 HMI
The new G4 High-definition 21-inch touchscreen blends off-the-shelf hardware with unique custom software allowing the integration of equipment control with troubleshooting, on-screen switch and valve status, multi-language support, recipe-based product selection, networking capability and much more.
G4 Controls Package
Spindle motors and drives are now AC and use industry-standard drives. Controls are easy to work on and troubleshoot, with the majority of information accessible via HMI.
New Anti-Reverse Clamp
Typically used in fluid processing applications as a shutoff valve, new REELEX machines now use a bladder-style air-driven clamp by Festo to gently stop cable movement when the machine is not running.
By squeezing the cable via adjustable air bladders, bends in the product are eliminated and gentler handling of twisted-pair data cables is achieved.

In unison with a REELEX-built motorized payoff and buffer/dancer, a S320DS will run up to 1,000 feet (305m) per minute. At this rate, the S320DS will produce up to 60 spools (1,000 ft (305m) length in an hour depending on operator skill.
