The POD is ideal for manufacturers or distributors looking to rewind cable on a variety of supply reel sizes into REELEX or spools. Capable of handling reel diameters from 12 inches (30 cm) to 52 inches (132 cm), the POD offers versatile, simple, and safe product delivery. High response performance capabilities match the throughput needs of any REELEX or spooling line.

Integrated Payoff and UDA (Dancer) in a Single Unit

A dancer/accumulator is mounted to the same frame as the motorized payoff, creating a compact footprint with increased performance capabilities, including easy transport and string up. This dancer features the same gravity-assisted rapid response as other REELEX dancers and offers digital tension control regulation. An accessory plate is available for mounting printers or other equipment.

Increased Levels of Safety Across All REELEX Machines

The POD is designed to handle product feed from a supply reel into all REELEX machines and integrated into most any wire and packaging line. It includes enhanced levels of safety with integrated safety guarding to prevent operators from accidentally coming into contact with fast-moving components during operations. This is in addition to safety devices to control hazardous energy sources and prevent unexpected startup, and systems are designed using ISO best practices and conform to industrial electronics safety requirements.
